Nourish, Network and Knowledge

Friday 1 December

The QT Roof Top, QT Hotel, Auckland

Thank you

Women in Dentistry NZ celebrated its second ever event, Nourish, Network and Knowledge, on Friday 1st December 2023 at the QT hotel rooftop in Auckland’s Viaduct. Thank you to all of those who joined us for a sunny afternoon of bubbles, nibbles and networking. Nobel Biocare, Henry Schein, Geistlich, OMS Specialists and Ivoclar helped to welcome our guests before we kicked off the day with Brooke Neal - our keynote speaker. She provided a motivational, honest and passionate insight into the world of high performance, stress and burn out which our guests found both engaging and energetic. Her workshop activities provided strategies for self care, an ever important theme from the event.

Lunch and more drinks were served after the keynote presentation which allowed our attendees and speakers to further mingle.

We welcomed our panelists following lunch - Drs Inah Mundy, Poppy Horne, Andrea Shepperson, Richard Cobb and Ryan Smit. This inspiring and expert panel detailed their progression through their careers, discussed conflicts and tough times they had faced and gave honest insight to the every day juggle of life and clinical workload. We opened up to the floor for a Q&A style session where our guests had the chance to grill and converse with the panel. It is no doubt the future of dentistry in NZ is bright with this group at the forefront of their fields.

We closed the day with some prize draws, thank yous and further drinks - some even stayed at the roof top well into the evening to celebrate a successful event.

Thank you again to our generous sponsors, talented keynote, inspiring panelists and most importantly our amazing attendees who made the day as bubbly and bright as it was. We are so looking forward to seeing everyone again in 2024 for more celebrations and networking.
